Being named Forbes 30 Under 30 may be a pinnacle in the journey of life for some, but for Lucy Guo, she continues to attack life with dynamism and tenacity. After dropping out of Carnegie Mellon for the Thiel Fellowship, later becoming the first female product designer at Snapchat, Lucy founded Scale AI, a billion dollar startup, earning her 30 under 30 position. She now invests in startups through Backend Capital, and nurtures budding technologists through hackathons.

Podcast 🎙 Snack 🍏
ST: What do you really envision for this intersection of web3 and crypto meeting cultural elements from the outside world?
LG: The way I see it is just that everyone's going to have ownership and there's going to be a proof of it. The way I look at NFTs is that it's going to take a more game-like element to it. I think a lot of people are willing to pay for NFTs if it's involved in gaming or some sort of a game. That makes NFTs a little bit more meaningful.
I also think in the music world too, NFTs as a way to build relationships with the artists without being weird about it. So being able to buy 3LAU’s album and officially having a relationship with 3LAU versus, I don't know, having to reach out to him to hire him.
